2011 REX Award
This 528 square foot addition provided the aging homeowners with a master suite on the ground floor of their two story home. The addition included a large bathroom with a curbless shower as well as his and her sinks. Hand painted border tile and sinks match the handmade beach glass mosaic inset in the bathroom floor. The bedroom has a Lodge theme with hand scraped oak floors and vaulted natural cedar ceilings. A large covered porch provides for use of the two sided fireplace year round. This addition should provided the homeowners with many more years of enjoyment in their home.
2010 REX Award
The Sullivan Home
The Sullivan project was on the 2001 Tour of Remodeled Homes. The Sullivan home also won the local Master Builders of Pierce County REX Award (Remodeling Excellence) & Honorable Mention in the BIAW Awards (Building Industry Association of Washington). The Award was for "Residential Addition $75,000 to $150,000" (Best Local & Honorable Mention State).
The Burwell Home
The Burwell home in Puyallup won the 2001 local Master Builders of Pierce County REX Award and the BIAW REX Award. The Award was for "Residential Addition Under $75,000" (Best Local & Best in the State).
